Dan Liutikas, Founder and Managing Attorney at Org Law

    Overview

Experience applied to the work in front of you.

Since founding Org Law in 2018, Dan has advised executives, boards, and leaders responsible for organizations, divisions, and departments on commercial agreements, technology and data, transactions, governance, executive matters, and regulatory risk.

His clients include technology and service providers, franchisors, associations and credentialing organizations, professional-services firms, and other organizations managing significant legal work without an internal general counsel. The work is varied, but the issues are rarely isolated: a commercial agreement affects delivery, a transaction changes governance, or a technology decision creates data, IP, workforce, and regulatory questions.

Dan brings to that work the judgment he developed as outside counsel, Chief Legal Officer of CompTIA, Chief Executive Officer of the International Legal Technology Association, and a partner at Much Shelist. Those roles inform the advice rather than define it. Dan leads each Org Law engagement himself, connects the immediate legal question to the organization around it, and stays focused on who must decide, what needs protection, and what must work after the document is signed.
