What you’ll get.
We prepare before the meeting
We read your questionnaire and selected documents before we meet, so we can spend the hour discussing your questions.
Discuss your questions
An attorney explains the issues raised by your plans and documents, recommends what to address first and identifies anything that needs further review.
Get the recommendations in writing
Your summary sets out each priority, why it matters, what to do next and when to act.
When legal questions pile up.
Your business has grown around informal arrangements. A new customer wants different contract terms. You are hiring, adding a service or bringing in another owner. You need to know which legal questions to address first.
Bring the questions you have and tell us what is already in place. We will help you work out where to begin.
Decide where to spend.
We recommend which issues to address now, which can wait and where more legal work is needed. Use that advice to decide how to spend your time and legal budget.
You can handle the next steps with your team, another adviser or Org Law.

FAQs
What does the $500 include?
Preparation based on your questionnaire and selected documents, a 60-minute meeting with an attorney, and a one- to two-page priorities summary, usually covering three to five recommendations. We aim to send the summary within two business days after the meeting. One brief email exchange to clarify it is included when requested within seven calendar days of delivery.
What documents should I send?
We select up to three documents, totaling no more than 30 pages, based on your business and questions. We also use your website for context. Tell us when a document is not in place; you do not need to create or buy one for the assessment. We will agree with you before adding unusually lengthy or complex material.
Is this a full legal review of my business?
The assessment helps you decide what legal work to do next, based on the information we discuss and the materials selected. It is not a comprehensive legal audit, compliance certification or clause-by-clause contract review. Drafting, revisions, filings and other implementation work are quoted separately.
Do I have to hire Org Law for the next steps?
No. The recommendations are yours to use with Org Law, another adviser or your own team. Further work is a separate decision, with its own scope and fee.
Is this suitable for a new business?
Yes, and it can also help an established business organize its legal priorities. For a business not yet formed, we first confirm who we would represent, especially when several founders are involved. Tell us about your situation in the request.
What if I have an urgent deadline or dispute?
Tell us the date and type of matter immediately. You may need help with that specific issue rather than an assessment. Do not wait for the meeting to seek advice about a deadline; we confirm separately any work we undertake to address it.
